My Story

I never planned to write books. For most of my life, I’ve simply been someone who writes things down — ideas, questions, Scriptures, moments I didn’t want to forget.

Life gave me plenty to write about. I’ve walked through loss, grief, and seasons of rebuilding I never would have chosen. Through all of it, one thing stayed true: God never left. Even when I couldn’t see what was ahead, even when the noise around me felt louder than His voice, He stayed faithful.

Somewhere in that noise, I discovered something most of us eventually learn the hard way — some of life’s most important lessons aren’t found in the loud moments. They’re found in the quiet ones.

Today, I serve as an Executive Director of Human Resources, host the OnePastor Podcast, and write regularly for that community. I live in Georgia with my wife, Michelle, who has walked every step of this with me. The Quiet Me Remembers is my first book — not because I had everything figured out, but because I needed the reminder just as much as anyone.

My hope is that my writing does the same for you: helps you slow down, listen for God’s voice, and remember who He says you are — even when the world gets loud.
